Principal Kovac smiles as he holds up a Stevie Nicks record

Stevie had a major cultural impact beyond just her music," Mike said. "As a songwriter, performer, and visual icon, she helped shape rock, pop, and fashion aesthetics from the 1970s onward."

SAT Testing Information: Please call 719-549-7255

The Colorado Department of Education, in partnership with The College Board, will be offering the SAT suite of assessments to all Colorado public school students in 9th through 11th grade in April here at South High School. The College Board provides a number of structures to support students' and their families' ability to connect to key opportunities available to them. As such, College Board gives students and families complete discretion regarding the additional, voluntary information they disclose beyond the minimum needed to register and score these assessments. The required information necessary to administer and score these exams covers the basics (name, school, date of birth, grade level, gender and state student ID). During the required pre-administration digital readiness check, students may choose to provide some additional information about themselves through an optional questionnaire.

On Monday March 30th, South High School will be giving all 10th and 11th grade students the consent form so they can review and decide on whether they plan to participate in the optional questionnaire portion of the required digital readiness check. Students will be asked to read the form and sign the form if they consent to participate in the optional portion of the pre-administration session. For more information, please read the attached consent form within this post or reach out to Mrs. Juno in the counseling office via either email or phone. michelle.juno@pueblod60.org, 719-549-7258.
