Pueblo South High School Class of 2026 member Kade Ortiz received a scholarship to York University, where he will continue his academic and baseball journey.

Students researched countries across the Americas, examining World Cup achievements, players, and cultural significance. They brought their learning to life by creating a trading card, team jersey, or social media campaign inspired by their research.

Aaron Cruz, Pueblo South High School, will use a Presidential Merit Scholarship, a First Generation Scholarship and the Jacqueline Hirsch Scholarship to attend Colorado State University Pueblo.

At South High School, our students are part of stellar academic programs that include numerous Advanced Placement, CTE, and Concurrent Enrollment college classes in a variety of subjects. Diana Flores Hortado, Pueblo South High School, received a total of 18 scholarship offers: most of which she accepted. These include the full ride Kane Family Scholarship, a Presidential Merit Scholarship, and a First Generation Scholarship.

Cross Country is a great way to meet new people, get involved, and earn a varsity letter. There is so much more to Cross Country than running! You are part of a team with opportunities to compete at various levels including State. You can earn a varsity letter every year even if you are a freshman or it's your first time out. You can earn volunteer service hours, and it can help with college scholarships and admissions. The 66th commencement of South High School saw 197 Colts walk across the Southwest Motors Events Center stage to accept their diplomas and join the ranks of South alumni.
