At South High School, our students are part of stellar academic programs that include numerous  Advanced Placement, CTE, and Concurrent Enrollment college classes in a variety of subjects. Our students gain a head start on their post-secondary education and career training, earning both high school and college credits simultaneously while never having to leave campus!

Students can choose courses in Business, Welding, Art, Drama, AP Computer Science, AP Pre-Calculus, AP Literature, AP Language, Italian, Spanish, Chicano Studies, AP Geography, AP Psychology, AP World History, AP U.S. History, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Seminar, Colorado Natural History, Astronomy, Instrumental Music, Choir, JROTC, Swimming, Weight Lifting, Audio/Video Broadcasting, Digital Media Design, Print Media, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Journalism, Speech and Debate, Personal Finance, just to name a few.

We also have sports for every ability level including swimming, bowling, soccer, baseball, softball, football, volleyball, basketball, cross country, track & field, wrestling, golf, tennis, dance team, and cheer leading.  Not an athlete? No problem! South HS also has activities including, Art Club, Student Council, Drama Club, Key Club, Marching Band, Pep Band, Environmental Club, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Girl's Cabinet, Speech and Debate, Fellowship of Christian Colts, Newman Club, Future Business Leaders of America, and so much more.

Join Cross Country today! Voluntary practices start July 7th at 7:30 AM at City Park in the Southwest corner by the golf course, just past the Dog Park. Mandatory practices start August 10th.  If you are interested in running cross country next fall. Please contact Coach Zundel at clint.zundel@pueblod60.org.

Cross Country is a great way to meet new people, get involved, and earn a varsity letter. There is so much more to Cross Country than running! You are part of a team with opportunities to compete at various levels including State. You can earn a varsity letter every year even if you are a freshman or it's your first time out. You can earn volunteer service hours, and it can help with college scholarships and admissions.
